Update: After two emails to Lyft about this issue and no response I have lost my faith in their system. It is just Uber for me from now on. If they do not care enough about their drivers being at risk I do not care to drive for them.

To be fare you're going off speculation about what he was doing. The fact is you don't know so demanding someone be deactivated because of the illegal thing you assume their doing is silly. And on Lyft's system if you rate the 3 or lower they won't match you with them again sooo what's the issue?

Come on D Town, you and I both know what the dude was doing. I left with no issues the next driver may not be as lucky. The signs were there. I am thinking of me and the next guy, he was rated a 1 (by me) and I will never be paired with him again but that means someone else may pick him up. If I put him on the radar maybe it will be hard for him to setup alternate accounts.

You DID look out for the next driver. You lowered an already low rated pax's rating further. If a driver wants to accept a pax that's in the low 4's or lower that's on them. They know going in this pax has MANY problems.

If they banned ever pax that was going somewhere to buy drugs we'd likely have to stop responding to bars and clubs all together and that's just to start. If we ban all pax who could conceivably be doing something shady at some point on some trip we aren't driving 70% - 80% of the population. Thank you for your concern but I'm still going to give Lyft a try especially since they at least give me the option of never being matched with someone who doesn't agree with me ever again.

In over 600 rides with Uber I have never encountered a situation like I did with Lyft. Could it happen?, possibly but it hasn't yet.

I've been OFFERED drugs working Uber twice and there is no mechanism to make sure I won't get them again and I assure you Uber did NOT deactivate or even acknowledge my emails.
