I've had that happen but it was when Uber had the fuel cards. I don't drive often so the week after I used the card it showed I had a negative balance. My rides looked like that until I earned what Uber fronted me for fuel.

You shouldn't have to call. Just go to help screen for this ride and explain. As F'd up as UBER can be they are usually pretty good at fixing these quickly without a phone call.

Uber has incurred an unexpected increase in expenses and some drivers have to make sacrifices. I’m sure they’ll make it up to you in the future.
