Lyft is just straight up giving drivers the middle finger at this stage. I’m dumbfounded. Aside from the strategic/analytical absurdity of the “streak zone” concept in itself, to put a mere $6 incentive on it is downright disrespectful.
How can this company pay so little knowing Uber is paying drivers significantly better relatively?
I have to see Lyft with at least a $4 to $5 surge zone AND $18+ streak just to get what I am getting with Uber on 20+ minute trips in my region.
Just pay people more instead of creating all these juvenile games. Even with Uber, it’s more about where the customer is than where the driver is. If it is a busy zone and a customer is within it, I get paid for the surge.
