I have to live here man! I would rather be in the middle of nowhere! fishing, hunting, shooting, and left alone
Have you ever been to Bend, Oregon? I love that area. That's where I would choose to live in the PNW if I could. You would love it, Marky.

This was posted at the on-ramp to 99 from West Seattle bridge today.

Sort of feels like this closure is not getting a lot of attention. Weird.

Looks like I-5 back from airport runs on Sunday AM.

Saturday is going to have some closed lanes as well.
I love the viaduct for getting around Seattle. It will suck when it goes.
Without the Viaduct, if you live in the West Seattle, White Center, Burien area and work downtown it's going to really suck. I'm considering moving out of West Seattle for that reason alone.

I love Seattle, NW, cascades, but the Sierras are some of the most beautiful scenery in the country. Yosemite, King's canyon, John Muir wilderness. Sequoia, Inyo, All of it. 4 years ago I flew to Reno, drove to Bishop & and backpacked in the high country for a few days. It was June and almost no one up there. I need to get back down there. (Or up there).

Bend is amazing. Kind of small town, but big enough. Lots of sun. I'd love to retire there someday.

Summer is here! Money is outside and I'm too lazy to go get some

Fly fishing and rafting the Deschutes river should be on every outdoorsman bucket list! I grew up in Central Oregon and learned to both ski and climb on My Bachelor. While I lived a hundred miles east of there, we made it out there amazingly often. Bend is a pleasant enigma on the verge of desert and the Cascade mountains.
