Warning - Cyclist marathon on White oak and Heights Blvd. About a few thousand and they won't make room for vehicles. No cops present on Yale either....so they're running amuck, amuck, amuck!

Last Friday of every month....
Three cyclists were hit and sent to ER. Two of them were hit while waiting for Uber after the event. I find irony in this.
I'm amazed road rage hasn't taken them all out. I wish the cops would take one day and start pulling them all over for running red lights. They also drink while cycling and throw trash everywhere.

I cycle a lot driver have no idea of the law and try to force me off the road or yell to get on the sidewalk... Ha almost all the street don't have one. Now these a holes are wrong you must follow traffic laws like the cars... get over in the lane to let car pass
Yeah, drivers don't treat cyclists as if they have any right to the road, but having thousands of cyclists run red lights through 5 or 6 turns is not furthering their cause. If they did the ride but obeyed all the traffic signals and showed how it SHOULD be done they could get some positive publicity and maybe help get drivers to treat them better. But instead they make drivers angry by making them sit at a light or stop sign for 20 minutes (I have done this while delivering pizza and it's also costing me money AND pissing off the customer, although unlike uber pax they rarely take it out on the driver).

It's just a very stupid and dangerous thing to do and it hurts cyclists rather than helps them.
