Newbie question, what do I do if 6 passengers and luggage front for xl ride from airport?
If it's XL you take them, if it's X you take their picture and send a support ticket (with the picture of them in the car) to get it changed to XL

Sorry, I didn't provide enough info. My vehicle is a 7 seated but with all seats occupied there is very little room left for luggage.
Then I would have had them cancel at least you would have got the cancellation fee that's not your problem that they had too much baggage you could accompany them and seat them in your car it was their baggage that you could not transport, or if someone stated you could have called another Uber especially at the airport they would have been right there on the spot

If it were a regular occurance.
You should get a soft side waterproof roof top luggage carrier.
It easily compresses to a small size and can be folded and stored under your rear most seat on the vehicle.
Pictured is the weather tech rack sack cargo carrier. Many brands and styles are available.
There are several affordable solutions if you have the need.
Receiver hitch mounted cargo trays that fold up when not in use are also available. Lower lifting point for bags.
You can mount on front or rear of vehicle or Both. Will also carry 6 + 5 gallon gas cans of additional fuel if needed.

I've had that happen twice. My vehicle is like yours I think, my way back seats are the luggage space, if they are down lots of room but if they are up you're not fitting anything bigger than a book bag in the back. One time I cancelled the trip as they insisted on all riding together. The next time part of the party requested a second uber so I took my part and the other guy took his part. Still stressful as hell as it was at the cruise ship port which is mayhem.

Immediately after accepting the XL request text the pax and ask them to confirm number of passengers and whether or not they have luggage. Don't move until you get an answer. I used to do this all the time with my Mazda5 since it could only take 5 pax and no luggage. The idea is to sort things out before you even get to them.

Of course your situation shouldn't happen very often, and if it does it's most likely to happen at residences/apartments early morning or at the airport any time after that. So if you do this for every XL request you accept you may be seen as too demanding. Didn't seem to hurt me any though...I think people understand that vehicles have limitations.

This is why rogues shouldn't qualify for XL. LOL.
There's a lot of cars that probobly shouldn't be used for uberX, or for uberXL.

In Orlando... the last few years of dodge Neon apply for X. (yeah like the 02-04 Neons)
(Orlando vehicle standards are hilarious if you ask me)

if you put 4 adults in a neon... your a can-o-sardines in the back and bottoming out on every turn. I have a 03 Neon kicking around that i use for amateur racing and i'm stunned it was still eligible for uber. (On July 1st of this year it was still eligible)

As much as i like the Camry taxis i rent, they have a really lousy cargo capicty. They really need to be using with more room for junk in the trunk.

There's a lot of nice cars you shouldn't be using as taxis...

Guess that's the point i'm saying.

For a five dollar ride to the hotel? ... right over there?
Not me.
Hit canx, and the throttle at the same time.
