I waited 30 minutes at Logan at 1:45 a.m. last night. Lucky to snag a fare but only to South Station.

So I hung around for the normal boost zone from 3 am to 4 am, 1.6 in the Fenway, 1.8 in Brookline. (Probably all drivers get those boosts at that hour in those areas most days?)

Disappointed that I had no pings. I finally headed home but had a 1.4 or so boost ping in the South End to Logan.

After that, hung around the Seaport for a 1.3 boost. Fruitless.

Sometimes those anticipated boosts are nice, other times I make more with no boost or surge like at 4 pm yesterday from the Fenway to South Shore Plaza in heavy traffic. No surge or boost but at least I have income for that hour.

May have to change my hours and quit before 3 a.m. weeknights.

Very humbling.

Tough. I feel like business has been so sporadic the past two weeks. I was anticipating making jack [email protected]#$ today because Thursdays have been very slow in my market. I made $200 in 5 hours with no surge rides... Soaking it in because I don't think this will happen again for a while here . I often struggle to hit my goal on Thursdays.

Yes, sometimes it's worked, like the a.m. after college graduations, sometimes not.

I got used to them, feeling..."entitled."

Maybe Mondays, or summer Thursdays or Fridays, may be the only reliable periods.
