Yesterday I got a 50 cent tip from an UE customer. Could that have been a typo by the customer or was it definitely deliberate? I was paid the correct amount for the delivery. And UE fare review said the tip amount was correct. I don't order Eats so I don't know how customers put in tips.

BTW 3 deliveries later a woman who'd already tipped $6 up front gave me another $5 cash when I got there. She said she knows drivers don't get paid much.

Who knows. Some people don't tip at all, so I suppose 50 cents is an improvement over that.

I once had somebody who wanted to make a point that he wasn't happy with my delivery. He tipped me a penny. That was a couple of years ago, so they do have the option to tip you as high or as low as they want.

Customer see several selections for tip being default like 15% 20% 25% 30% and then one custom where they put in their own amount.

Thanks for that. That's what I was trying to find out. If the guy tipped me 50¢ intentionally, I would be insulted and blacklist him. I don't see how it could have been a percentage.

I guess I didn't explain myself correctly, I do remember seeing a percentage but it also still has where you could edit your own amount but I'm surprised that uber would allow someone to tip less than $1 that's amazing.

Okay it looks like the percentage comes up only if it's a higher price order I put in something for $75.10 now it brings up the percentage
