Anybody else get the message about delivering products for Uber on Oct. 5th from 10AM to 4PM for $30 per hour guaranteed? A friend who drives showed it to me today, but I have not received it yet. It did not say what the product is, or how much driving is required, but still a nice guarantee anyway.

They only send it to a few people.

It doesn't seem to be nationwide as there are no other post's other than with us. In my announcement it was only mentioned MIA & FLL and PBC. I will let you all know once I hear more about it. Hopefully some fun giveaways .

Even if EVERY driver on this forum stayed offline during those dates, there'd still be plenty of drivers online to satisfy the demand for rides.

You'd only be shooting yourself in the foot, err, more like stubbing your toe.

All Uber Drivers,
Uber OFF from Oct-01-2015 to Oct-07-2015,
You will see the world changes.

Otherwise, be exploited by Uber and the riders,
Who have no mercy, no appreciation, no respect
to your low wage driving slavery.
Around .001% of uber drivers read this forum. So the likely effect of your strike is that it will be you who is on Strike, and nobody else.

They invited me to free McDonalds when I turned on my rider app. So I entered the promocode in to accept at my home and the code was not valid.

Not only is that bad PR but why would you offer free delivery to a customer who turned on their app, most likely to GO SOMEPLACE? They didn't mean they were going to serve you breakfast enroute to your destination, did they?

Wouldn't it make sense to email riders about the promotion so they could eat at home?
