After going shopping tonight I went online thinking I would make some decent money because of the bad weather.After working for 3 hours I grossed $37.95 plus a $4.00 tip with no surge what so ever.I should have gone home and had a few beer rather then waste my time driving for less than min. wage.Uber sent me a text saying how busy it was and how there was good money to be made tonight.I guess I was the only one not making all that cash.

I actually didn't read any details of it. I am just referring to the fact that uber loves to hype things up and often will offer boost, guarantees or similar. Looks like they're not promising anything - hence my comment about not believing in their own hype. Rather felt like people were expecting something so they just sent out that.

The one I got was 25/hour for 2 trips per hour with 80% acceptance rate from 2pm-12am. Thinking about doing it from 2-6 so I can hopefully avoid the insane pax tomorrow.

There's drunk, and then there's st. paddys day drunk lol I don't want any part of that.

Aha im just going to treat it like a normal Friday with the promotion as a bonus from 2-6 or 2-7.

People are bound to over do it and you know theres always the people that dont even make it to the bar on st paddys from overdoing it so i think if you want to avoid nasty situations being offline prior to 8pm is a good idea.

I thought I was safe being out so early today around 12-2pm got a drunk guy passing out in the back and decided to call it a day/night. Good thing is it was a 2.4 surge. Bad thing is the girlfriend wanted to continue the ride home but he wanted her to come with him.

Anyway I decided to call it a day after 2 hours $70. Not looking to deal with the drunkenness today.
