True, I'm not usually on the negative side of things and am a big believer of "better than nothing", but this one almost looks like someone hacked the system and put that up as a joke.

I needed on more ride for that 3 bucks tonight when the bruins game got out. Got a ping and accepted it. The 4’s on canal st with a $2.75 surge, so I texted him:

Me: I can’t get to the fours due to game traffic. Can you meet me at the end of canal st at new Chardon?
Him: try harder.
Me: cops have Merrimac blocked off.
No response.

Cancelled, Got immediate ping with $6.50 surge on new chardon to Quincy for a $30 ride.

I’m sure he got another ride at a higher surge. Good for him!
