Wisconsin resident Manuel Franco is the winner of last month's $768.4 million Powerball jackpot -- the third-largest lottery amount in U.S. history.
We had a brief discussion about, what to do with a billion dollars recently.I never know whether to feel happy or sad for these folks. Many large lottery winners end up a mess because they're just not prepared for the responsibility of managing such a large fortune.
brilliant!Whenever a pax has a gas station stop and asks if I want anything, I request that they buy me a lottery ticket in the 300 million to one hope that I might face this problem of immense wealth. It might be a waste of money but it feels better than asking for $2 or a bag of peanuts. The pax usually asks for a cut of the winnings and I always agree. So far, no luck.
many States don't allow you to remain anonymousThis guy is being a fool, I'm not even sure I'd tell my mother if I won this kind of money. Even in CA there are ways to remain anonymous, this guy literally had a press conference.
You can remain anonymous in many states by creating a LLC or a trust. When you collect your money you change your appearance.brilliant!
