See attached 24 hour deactivation notice from Uber based on a lie by anonymous rider I was falling asleep at the wheel. I am sure the complainant was a Newark pool rider who was all attitude from the get- go who was in a rush and complained when I stopped for another late pool rider. I told Uber it was a lie but they still deactivated me for 24 hours despite having driven just 4 rides last night. I told Uber I have a Lyft driver account to fall back on and my four years of loyalty to Uber over Lyft was a misplaced mistake. Anyone else ever get one of these notices from Uber?

They can't take a chance plus they made agreement last May in the law when it became legal with NJ to take all DUI and reports of this nature seriously by acting on it immediately. You're lucky it wasn't the full 48 hours.

This complaint against me was based in animus when I picked up a nasty young African American woman at EZPass- Newark in a big hurry on Pool and she got mad I picked up another Pool rider who was late. Uber relies on lies not facts when shooting from the hip. Not to worry, I told Uber I’ll be driving for Lyft until I get reactivated.

Over 6-9 months ago I kicked out 3 pax.... cause one was drinking alcohol in my car just 2 blocks from their house. I immediately contacted uber and filed a report. 4 to 5 hours and 5 to 8 rides later uber put me on hold for 48 hours cause they contacted them and lied said i was DUI..

I had dashcam footage of the entire night too. Uber said there was nothing they could do but investigate. Didn't want to view video

Jesus Christ. Why ,oh why did you picked up pool ? And in Newark !!!!!!!
I had just done an EWR drop and don't do airport rematches without surge so I went up Route 21 instead when I picked up the nasty pool rider at EZPass off McArter Highway. I was chasing a $6.50 3 ride promo which began in Newark. I had my destination filter on towards Morristown.

You don't do airport rematches without surge but you picked up a flat rate pool because of mere $6.50 you wanted to get extra!? ... can you go back and read your justification one more time please? smfh ... where is Lepke so he can use his "special" label on this guy? ... I'm sorry man but you deserved this!

This is... bad logic

"I don't take airport pax without surge, so let me go through an area known for problem passengers instead, and take the cheapest pax who was probably not at surge anyway, and then take another pool pax instead of stopping new requests."

Good lord man.

Uber is wrong not to accept the video - how are they "investigating the incident" without all available evidence... o_O

A few minutes of video would have had you back on the road immediately...
