I only do uber part time but took 2 weeks off work to give OLA a good try and make some money for renos at home,
Yes i have done 3000 trips but still uber should give some thought to the driver, SURELY.

Dont run more then 10 mins pick unless it's Long trip notification and surge 1.7 or greater.

I get 15-25 mins pings in paky area all the time

At Uber we do everything we can to minimize the travel time to pick up the passenger by matching the closet partner to the location. In this case we thought lets have some fun and send this out to a partner most likely to think it was a large ride and would accept it. Congratulations you won.

The base fare is $2 and it is sort of a compensation for pickup trip. Can you do the maths how much KMS $2 covers? It is much less than KMS(2km + 5min).
21 minutes pickup? It is not worth it unless it was a trip from Carrum Downs to Melbourne City or AP.

Uber do not care about your profitability. They are just interested in 27.5% commission from your fare.

I find if I get too close to the east side of Paky I start getting 25 min pings out to Warragul

UBER depends that a certain amount of it's drivers will make a few mistakes in the earlier part of their sojourn with UBER.

I'm flabbergasted that a driver with 3,000 trips would even consider accepting this.

There is one born every minute, UBER seeks them out then UBER preys on their misfortune to fill their coffers.

PS did you make these 3,000 trips as a rider, or a driver ? I'm still baffled ?

I am gullible because we are supposed to be uber partners and look after each other, but i have learned my lesson. 1hr and 10 minutes with OLA $89.00 Parhran to Sunshine return and 50 min Parhran to brighton stuck in traffic $16.50 with uber.

I wont do pool, I have %99 acceptance rate and %1 cancellation rate to keep my powder dry so i can knock back pool.
