Just doing as normal. In my village there are no known cases, so the danger is not as acute as in the big cities. I started the process of cancelling our April Tassie trip. Not so much out of fear of catching the lurgy, but more from the aspect that most of the things we enjoy doing will either be cancelled or you get greeted with wooden crosses. C’est la vie or as we say here ‘sh#t happens’. Moving it to the October school holidays.

It's dead
and will be for at least 4-6 months if people are working from home and limits on 100 people gatherings continues

Just when it was starting to pick up as well! Bolt and Ola way busier, DiDi launched and then...boom.

I think it will change when less and less ants drive, and only the truly committed ants are left to drive around the desperate pax.

Not to mention that when it's over there's likely to be a new "norm" in businesses with a lot more digital meetings, a lot less travel and more remote working arrangements.
This will redefine the way we live I promise you.
Hopefully, longer term it means more manufacturing here in Australia.

For the white collar workers, more jobs left onshore not outsourced to the cheapest bidder in some third world sh!t hole. You know, where the employees can be actually trusted to work from home.

Might head that way. People are saying "Yeah, we should be able to make our own medical supplies here." This has proven that.

The shock hasn't set in with most people yet,
Once jobs start going from this weekend ,

The impact will dwell on them

We are looking at Great Depression scenario here for at least 4-6 months

businesses are starting to collapse ,

we will be in a recession til early 2021

The government stimulus package is not going to save businesses,

That's what it's designed to do. Whether it will do that is a different story. "Yeah, we decided to save businesses by giving all the money to our mates because they have businesses that need saving."

you have conflicting messages being sent out by the government.
On the one hand limit gatherings to 100 which is killing pubs clubs etc and to maintain social distance
then on the other we will give out cash for you to spend ? Spend where ?

people will just save the money into rent and mortgages

Cant spend in
Restaurants
Travel
Pubs and clubs
Cinemas
Sporting events
Concerts

businesses are collapsing but they can write off assets up to $150,000 🙀

it's going to turn to 💩 everywhere
and there's more measures the government will implement if the rate of infections escalates
