from a previous post I explained what happened . In few words .
August 14 I went to tower financed a car . Filed application at 11 am before cut off (5pm). And got insurance from INSHUR INC. after 4 weeks I went to TLC office to check on my application but they kept telling me to go home and wait . September 20 I went to tlc again they told me that there’s a double VIN application.

To find out that the dealerships TOWER also filed an application before they sold the car to me . And that is why my application was in hold . But they told me maybe in a week it will be fixed . It has been another month . October 5 I got an email From TLC .. it basically says “your application has been placed on hold , do not come to the office and do not call” . So I’m here paying insurance (which I’m not paying this month because inshur is not being helpful and never respond ) and renting a car for 385$ a week . I WENT to the dealership and asked them what kind of bullshit is this . They told me “I’m sorry for 20 years we do this we buy diamonds with a car and then we sell it . But idk why now TLC has put us on hold” . According to them they will take tlc to court , while I’m there ****ing getting milked. BTW ACCORDING TO TOWER THERE ARE 40 of us with the same situation . My questions are ...:
1. Do you know someone who has this double VIN issue as of now ?
2. What type of lawyer do you think I should consult with? (because even tlc said that this is fraud ) ———-and u know what the dealership responded to that ..”Tlc are ****ing nazis they let us do this , how can they call us fraud”!! (Screaming).

Anyways 3: does anyone have inshur ? If the car has not been registered can I get a refund ??

4. Is this why people(drivers) commit suicide .. ? They get ****ed by tlc and by insurance and by dealerships.

TLC is scum we know that, but the real thiefs are Tower. They sold you a car meanwhile looking after their interest. So they went ahead sold you a car and then filed an application with that same car they sold you to register a car so that later on they could just transfer the plates to another one of their cars once you're done paying them. Yes I know tower ****ed me over . But tlc helps them . They even told me and showed me letters from tlc to their lawyers . They work with the help of tlc . They filed double application for 300 cars but latter he said they switched the rules and they replaced people at TLC so now out of those 300 vin 40 of us are ****ed . Why I blame the tlc ? TLC DID NOT WANT AND AS OF NOW I HAVE NO WRITTEN LETTER saying what's really the problem . The girl there said hey " I'm sorry but u have a complicated problem, and idk how they are fixing this. But u have a double vin . And only one application can be approved. "So the tlc contacts them and not me

I'm sorry that u dealt with those crooked like everyone else, never trust them. Now I'm not gonna tell you a lot of you "should'ves" because it's happened perriod. I would go to Uber Office and they have TLC lawyer contacts. They must help you or tell you what to do, in the meanwhile you may consider suing your crooked stupid dealer in community court because you have been gone through trouble by them, good luck

2 file online complaint with NY State General Attorney
3 file a online complaint on Tower on car dealership complain form ( if u google ,it will pop )
4 file complaint with NYC consumer affairs
5 take them to small claim court
6 consult with lawyer ( first one is free)

Do not belive in their nice talk. It will take you nowhere
And BTW ,when you get your car / TLC plates you will quickly realize, how stupid you were to purse this dream . IMO

You may be right , it's stupid right now . Well it seems because of the b.s that's going on with tlc and tower . Yes it was last minute and the closest place I could go to was tower . Anyways . Today tlc send us an affidavit form and will be fixed soon . My goal is to to get the plates and rent this car to someone ( a cousin ) I will do uber eats after I found out that my dad is making more than 1,000$ weekly .. delivering Uber eats . This is exactly what my uncle does . He rents his car for 400$ weekly and works for post mates and Uber eats . He takes home 5,000$ after takes every month . And to those negative people , I think I have an issue I'm trying to get resolved , with the help of members of this site if possible . But I think some of u have issues with yourself a and yes THE INDUSTRY SUCKS I'm aware , worked with Uber for 16 months

NO ! Uber eats after expensess he does about 3,800-4,000 (uber eats pay sometimes 10$ for every delivery plus whatever it cost to deliver ) average an hour is about 16-25$ hour . . then he gets money from Renting his tlc car a Toyota Camry 2016

Hey man . Nobody is saying they making more . Idk how much you make . I'm aware driving for Uber for 50 hours u can take home 1k-1,500 weekly after expenses . It sucks . But Uber eats works the same way , except expenses are low . AND hey I tried getting a screen shot but he really doesn't know how to use the new app well . When I visit him I will make sure I post it . I don't make up things .
