Yes but keep in mind that many also quit. Not everyone buys a car to drive. Some will sign up and drive for a few weeks and once they figure out it's a losing deal, they quit and get a second part time job.

Others quit because of anxiety. They think they can do this gig driving strangers around and then they realize they just can't.

I guess that's why many food delivery companies suspended new sign ups as more and more people tried switching to food delivery rather than having to deal with $3.84 Lakesha who needed a round trip to 7 eleven to get her Slurpee itch taken care of.

I don't know how reliable the source is but someone said there was over 10k new driver sign-up on Friday and Saturday in LA county alone.
Go figure. Until all these requests are taken they will keep signing people up. And it’s great because neither Luber or Gryft have to give out incentives

I love those. The only reservation I got was $50 to go to Huntington Beach. And we know that’s not enough I just did that ride on Lyft luxe for $180.
Today's morning was the shit!
Rain 🌧 helped us out a lot!
What sucks is it's gonna rain this weekend.
We need rain on the weekdays not the weekends 🥲

True $600 day. I could have gotten to $700 but had to deny some unprofitable trips around 3pm. Ever since 3 pm I haven’t gotten a single ping. I guess ant’s decided to come back out and everyone here for the game left.

Definitely a lot less people quit than signing up. I look at other factors to determine saturation rate such as wait time between pings and incentives for new driver signup and currently, Uber isn't incentivizing new driver signup either.
