I think a more accurate reflection of the two earnings above should include the whole of the mileage to get to the earned figure.
Some drivers may be selective in distance to job whereas others will go anywhere for the job.

Further, it helps to have a sister or wife who jumps in your minicab to do a 10/12 hours shift from time to time.

There are also set fees to let out your uber account with car and insurance and TfL badge which helps your income. This is done when the pilgrimage home for 3 months to the village is happening and so in the social club where they meet up, out goes the offer - for a nice fee naturally.....better than having your motor sidelined while your away and everyone's a winner. You won't get pulled by compliance as your staying out of there way and joined the infamous whatsapp group.....sorted.
