Who’s the Uber driver with close gently written on car windows? thought I was the only one dealing with an abundance of door slamming. One of my pet peeves

How many stars do you guys knock off if the passenger was overall nice but slams the door hard?

Don't you need the phone number to match for sign in? 9,Ishtar be a stupid question)
No, you don't. When I do this, my second phone isn't even active...I have it connected to my hot spot only. It's the phone I use for Spotify and other stuff while Uber/Lyft are being resource hogs on my phone. Costs me nothing.

Wasting time between rides. Playing with both phones and not able to get a new request.
You can get new requests while sitting on the rating screen. Wastes no time and doesn't affect your ability to earn at all. You didn't know this?

Nope, always in hurry to close out the completed trip snd move on.
Well as I said, it doesn't prevent you from "complet[ing] trip and mov[ing] on". So I'm not sure what point you're trying to make.

Also, as I said, if you're not doing this, just give those who give no cash tip 4* and "move on".

Problem solved.

You can still get/accept pings, but yes, you do have to complete the rating to get the pickup info.
I don't do this every ride. Maybe a few times a day.
If its an airport ride where I helped with lots of luggage, or allowed luggage in the cabin where they should have ordered an xl, I give them the opportunity to do the right thing and tip. I think its more fair than just dinging them because they gave no cash tip.
I do the same, when I drive a local in service industry home in the burbs. I'll sit on rating screen until next ping. I give them a chance. It leads to a more accurate and fair rating for these riders.
Giving a 5*, only to find out they didn't tip in the app, doesn't paint an accurate picture. Same with giving less than 5*, only to find out they did tip in the app right after dropping them.
Since Uber took away the ability to change rating, this is the best I can do to fairly rate. (Its not perfect though)
