Look. I don't think it matters what state you're in. With gas prices rising and rates falling, what is being done to drivers is quasi-slavery. Don't we understand that the true power rests with us? How is it that so far drivers have not organized to simply go offline for 30 minutes to 1 hour a...

This has baffled me since I began driving. Given the obvious disregard for drivers, plummeting income and likelihood of the mass driver exodus coming with driverless vehicles in the not-so-distant future, how has a real strike not yet happened? A very unique aspect of Uber is that drivers have...

Will you be driving on the Uber platform for New Years Eve? This is a tough one. Please vote.

I was thinking. If the Uber model was so good why did they raise the safe rider fee? and effective Sep 11 why did they raid the commission from 20% to 25% for new drivers? Does Uber get a 750,000 rides each day I doubt it probably in the range of 500,000 at an average of $8 commission per ride...

So, I should 1st say I wasn't there at Uber HQ. I did see all the updates on uberfreedom fb page. I'm wondering how people feel about Abe being the leader of this movement? I also want to know if anybody has any suggestions on how to improve on making a bigger impact going forward.

I heard about the strike this weekend oct 16-18. I think is a good idea to let uber now that humans are driving the cars, and we can not take another price reduction to like riders at our expenses. Most riders don't even notice the price reduction, but unfortunately we feel it in our paycheck...

I think it would be funny if people circled market to 10th to mission and back up 11th. I can't suggest that legally, but I do think that would be a funny scenario on Friday the 16th at 1130am.

Hi guys. Anyone would like to organize and meet up on the strike date? I bet we can get some media attention if 10 of us drivers meet up at some busy intersection around downtown. I know there is a bunch of cars idle all the time. With the occasional $2.60 net fare ping driving an old drunk lady...

For those interested, we are having a meeting: Where: Juicy in the Sky 4720 Washington Ave, Houston, TX 77007 This will be a great opportunity to meet other drivers and even talk about the upcoming strike. Hope to see you there. If you can't make it, let us know and one of us can post what we...
