    From what I could gather from the Stamford Advocate and the Ct Post newspapers, this is a parade that has been gong on for about 20 years in downtown Stamford and that has "tried" to utilize huge helium filled character balloons (just like Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade for the past decade)...
