It’s about time that Uber/Lyft charge passengers extra for taking their drivers across state lines. Not only do the drivers have to dead head back to the state but they have no way to pick up passengers until well into their home market. I don’t care what national monument is awaiting me when I...

Received this ping today: Not 45+ minutes, not 60+ minutes. 46 minute trip. First I've seen it as a "time of trip".

Do they have long trip notifications at DS?

Just as a heads up, Lyft now has 30+ trip pings in lieu of the 45+ pings at EWR. The trip I had today from EWR (with the new ping) was one hour in duration. This is a very interesting move on Lyfts part, which I’m not too surprised they did.

Yesturday I was helping a Lyft passenger (a disabled man) get back inside a house. When I got back inside my car and finished the trip I found Lyft had added another ride in que. Nothing unusual so I proceded to pick up about 9 mins away. When I arrived I noticed the man come out with 2...

Anyone else seeing this? I didn't see any noise about this in a quick search of the SD forum, so wanted to see if anyone else was getting this new notification in the new app as well. Uber announced back in June that they were rolling this out to EV drivers to help with range anxiety, and I do...

Maybe it's an Austin (TX) only bug but during the past week 90% of the Uber "60+" & "45+" trips have been much shorter. Personally, I had the issue 5 times in the past week ... and yesterday's "60+" trip turned out to only be 17 minutes long. It's happened to me both at the airport & COTA ...

I live in south Texas and so there are some cities that are 30-45 minutes away that people travel to often but is there not a way to tell where the trip is going before accepting? Last week I accepted one that was going to be an 11 hour trip luckily they cancelled. Today I got another one so I...

So last night I got a long trip request. I thought, "Great. I'll drive them an hour or so away, make a killing, and then be home in time to get a good night's sleep." Boy was I wrong. The pax was going from my home area in northern Delaware down to the DC suburbs. Uber said this was a 2 hour...

This morning, I had a pick-up from the Greenleigh Motel on the Cotter Road. If you're heading west on the Cotter Road towards Weston Creek, you can no longer turn right into the motel. The first place you can legally and safely turn around is about 1.5 kilometres down the road near the RSPCA...

I am driving from Columbia MO to KC area for Thanksgiving and vice versa on Friday, but I have plenty of space in my car for passengers. I think it'd be awesome to get paid for a trip that I would take regardless so I was trying to find a way to seek out a long trip from a rider with a similar...

While you've said that...
