...getting through to Uber Support quickly, to speak with the Foreign Agent with canned phrases. Most of the time I call it's to document jackass behavior, to innoculate me against jackass claims. Not holding my breath for them to report my larger issues to specialized teams. Nevertheless...

I don't answer calls while en route to/waiting for Uber Express Pool pickup. What else but "Pick me up somewhere else" or "I need more time"? Then I feel it's necessary to explain to current pool riders why I'm doing this (NOT explaining while ignoring repeat calls is worse). Wondering if I...

I know I'm not the first, but I finally made it a rule. I will not accept phone calls when I have an Express Pool in the works. Why else would they call other than "Pick me up somewhere else" or "Give me more time"? I usually am concentrating on traffic/navigation anyway.

Snow and ice are around the corner. How long before a would-be passenger slips or hurts themselves trying to reach a pickup point? I've had a 9-month pregnant rider tell me her first driver canceled while she was in transit. Forget the part about who should and shouldn't choose ExpressPool...

A strike has been proposed many times in these forums. A strike will never happen and if it did it wouldn’t work for a lot of reasons that have been discussed in other threads. A Pool boycott, on the other hand, might be feasible. Everybody can still go out and earn but decline all Pool...

hi everyone Seeing if anyone has any thoughts about the following scenario Express pool rider 1: 1 person Express pool rider 2: a couple with a 2 month old baby When I picked up rider 2, rider 1 saw that they were a couple and had a baby and was nice enough to move to the front seat. the...

Uber told the rider to walk from the Logan Square Blue Line to Wellington & Kimball for his Uber ExpressPool. He had 2 minutes to get there and of course I would have had 2 minutes to wait for him. He saw a teensy problem with walking six tenths of a mile in 2 minutes, and called immediately to...

Is it just me getting used to the new app or is it not clearly indicating Express Pool rides? Just had a pool where two more riders were added on pretty quickly and I thought I glimpsed "Express" on my app breifly between the new requests coming and trying to see the nav. After I had all three...

From Uber: Drivers have been asking when rates will go up. With express pool, you can get more rides and pickups in less time. What they are telling riders: No need to tip, as your low fare includes a tip that is split among all the other riders in the car (the additional pickup fee)

The high # of shootings over Lolla weekend still eats at me. That news at least got me at least asking, What if? and What can I do? I'm pretty much making it a rule. I disregard ExpressPool's dropoff point in most cases, especially for women. Uber's dropoff locations seem capricious and...

Slow today so accepted pool. Once accepted turned out it was Express Pool, supposed to pick up pax corner of PCH and Herondo. Go to cancel, get text, says "I'm waiting in front of CVS" So I drive to PCH and Herondo, wait 2 minutes, cancel rider not here, get cancel fee. Cheap and stupid. The...

I accepted a surge express pool to finish the 3 for $9 bonus. The rider cancelled the trip but they only gave me 2.40. This is the first time I got this amount for cancellation. Is this the right amount?

Uber has removed the "express pool" notification and just put "pool". Sneaky Uber, they know we don't like express pool so they are trying to fool us. Yesterday, I tried to give regular Uber-Pool a chance, (so many requests I had to try again), twice after accepting it said "express pool"...

Got an epoo ping. About a mile away. Start driving to the nw corner of x and y. Phone rings. I don't answer. Phone rings again. I don't answer. Text message: why aren't you answering the phone? Text message: I'm at publix. (Not the pickup location). Text message: I'm in front of publix...

I'm a frequent Uber passenger and a part-time driver. On Saturday, I wanted to see how Uber Express was like for passengers and ordered a ride (I normally never take Pool/Express as a pax). But after three attempts, I kept getting the same 4.6-rated driver who was 8 minutes away despite the app...

Disclaimer: This tale of misery DID NOT HAPPEN to ME!! This was retold to me twice, in detail, on the long Uber X ride from Adam's Morgan to Germantown. (Pax learned her lesson the hard way..Never take pool express). She ordered express pool from Germantown to DC Friday evening. She only...

3 Express Pool , waiting in the corner where ping was drop. Pax calling to pick them up at their location, all at least half a block away. Love to see the 2 min run out. Shuffle-show . Can you hear me now

They give you the most ****ed up pick-up locations and on top of that these lazy pax will ask you to pick them up at a different location other than the one Uber gives. What makes it even more ****ed up is they start *****ing and moaning when you drop them off at their predetermined location. I...
