Based on the sh!tshow last year, it ain't worth it for $15.

Maybe if it was $25/30. Maybe.

I think a big issue is going to be riders cancelling on you and you getting NOTHING because you aren't "on track to arrive on time".

Even worse than trying to get to the start pin at regular events.

In short...

Hard pass.

So many things can go wrong
Traffic will make it look like you arent moving, you get cancelled on. No pay since not making progress.

if one were to go, I would wait until after the events each night which would be really late.

Everyone knows that Uber's corrupt black box pay system will shave the "regular" earnings to make sure the drivers don't receive the full $15 "bonus".

I have to admit, I've never had Uber withold a cancellation fee. This has always been a Lyft thing for me. Sometimes the Uber cancellation fee doesn't appear but going through support menu I get automated cancellation fee.

Friends went to Vegas took taxis the whole time much cheaper and more reliable. They had their own sections and easy to get to and actually cheaper

So I didn’t get this notification at all. Last year I didn’t heed advice to just sit the whole weekend off. Thinking somehow there would be money to be made( nope! Not really! ) so this year it looks like uber is helping me to make my decision. Maybe it has something to do with my persistence below 5% acceptance rating ( over a year ) has Uber even started that new program?? Just out curiosity drivers that did get the 15 bonus notice- are you showing any kind of outline on your app?? Cause I’m not- screenshots please.

I got the offer and I too have a heroically low acceptance rate, and actually at the moment I think about a 25% cancellation rate - I got a nasty gram about cancellation rate the other day. So I don't know if that's really what it is or if they just gave it out randomly.

That acceptance rate/ driving score combo thing that Uber announced awhile back ( forgot what its called ) advantage mode/ standard mode I think 🤔 I’ll never make advantage mode and I’ll never care.

Hello. Got the $15 notice. Went out this morning no zone map on app started a ride at Venetian and received no $15 extra. Just the ride basic. Sent Uber a message and the note about the $15. They cannot find this map or about the $15 per ride. They said they would investigate and get back to me.

Ah, fond memories of their hockey promotion last year, something like an extra $10 for picking up at a game for up to an hour after the event ended. Took two trips, had to fight both times to get the 10 bucks, left all future hockey riders waiting for someone else.
